Why not join us and we will show you how to
crochet a rug using your old duvet—it’s a fantastic
way to recycle, gives you something to do whilst
watching the television in the evening and will feed your soul with enjoyment at having made something so brilliant!
Jo Harrison our wonderful knitting and crochet tutor will bring along a few samples for you to look at and to inspire you. She will talk you through how to create a yarn from your duvet, show you the stitch and off you go. This is a course that you could do as someone new to crochet, although you will only be learning one stitch, as opposed to our beginner courses where you will learn a number of different stitches.
Skill Level – total beginners or basic crochet experience needed.
Price : £20.00 Pre-booking with payment is essential.
Materials – Bring with you an old duvet cover or sheet, Please bring along your crochet hook size 15 mm. If you don’t have the correct size, we have them for sale in the shop.
Tea and cake is included – after all, everything is good with tea…but better with cake
